There are MANY amazing web sites now...here are a few of my favorites, PLUS some search engines for the entire web  (Don't miss my Search Engine Links, and my Doll Site Links, too!!)

DOLLS:

bulletThe Doll Attic:  Great selection of vintage Barbie dolls, at good prices.  Barbie gossip, too!
bulletThe Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll ArtThe best doll museum in the western United States  has an excellent site--you can even shop in the museum shop online!
bulletThru Children's Eyes Great shop for Gene dolls!  Tell Christie I sent you!
bulletThe Doll Shoppe:   Great shop for Barbie collectibles and Madame Alexander!  Tell Ruth and Harold I sent you!
bulletUFDC:  Learn about the United Federation of Doll Clubs.  Membership includes the incredible quarterly Doll New, and the chance to attend national and regional conventions.  This year's national convention is August 9-14 in New Orleans, where I will be teaching a "Dolls and The Internet" seminar!
bulletTheriault's: All I can say about their auctions, books, and auction catalogs is...wow!  Antique and pre-1970 dolls.
bulletDollShow: LOTS of links to other doll sites, but HOW do I turn off that incessant Cheers Theme Song??
bulletHolly's Dolly Page: In one place, you can see lovely, individually sewn outfits and cusomized dolls--the Gene section, especially, is exceptional!
bulletK & J's Small Treasures: Absolutely beautiful authenticaly reproduced antique doll carriages; nice site, too!
bulletGrin And Bear It: Another unique product--lovely, hand carved wood dolls!  You can see the dolls on the second page of the site.
bulletFlossy's Dolls: A very comprehensive site; just about everything is going on here; buy/sell, chat, events, you name it!  Site has other areas for other types of collectibles as well.

SEWING

bulletQuiltropolis: Sign up for mailing lists on quilting, sewing, and machine embroidery.
bulletViking: This is an essential site for owners of embroidery machines (especially if you own a Viking!).
bulletJazzerstitches: Tons of FREE designs for embroidery machines!!  Also, great info on digitizing!
bulletAnnTheGran's Design Exchange: More amazing designs for embroidery machinge FREE!
bulletAmazing DesignsMany designs available for almost all brands of embroidery machines--reasonably priced.   You can change the size of the designs with the "Smartsizer," which recalculates the number of stitches.
bulletCommon ThreadsBeautiful site on all the fiber arts with small area for doll classes & products.

BUTTONS

bulletButton Bytes LightTHE button site; a constantly changing buttons magazine; everything from articles to collector profiles to ugly buttons of the month!
bulletButton ImagesYou will find all the button collecting items you will need here--collectors cards, wire, sleeves--you name it.  Nice bibligoraphy, too.
bulletThe Button KingdomThis site is beautiful, and it beautifiully showcases the best in collectible buttons.

DOLLMAKING

bulletSeeley's: Find out where you can learn porcelain dollmaking; both reproductions and modern.   Excellent paints and products.
bulletMimi's Dollmaking ParadiseLarage dollmaking site; mostly about cloth and resin doll making, and lots about Mimi!

RECIPES

bulletCampbell's Soup:   Well, you need to have some quick recipes if you are going to spend so much time making and collecting dolls!  This is a great recipe site, by the way--you can input what ingredients you have in your kitchen, and they will tell you what you can cook with it!!
bulletEpicurious:   More receipes, albeit a little fancier than Campbell's page, and they ALSO let you input various ingredients available, then tell you what you can cook!  Over 7,500 receipes from Gourmet Magazine and Bon Apetit.
bulletRecipe-a-day.com:   Join their FREE mailing list, and you get a recipe-a-day mailed right to your e-mail address!!   And, they are delicious recipes, too!
